First, you need to have a certain amount of cash on hand. The amount you need to contribute to the pot depends on the type of game you’re playing and the stakes involved. Typically, the minimum bet is ante. If there’s more than one player, more than one player will be in contention at any time.<\/p>\n
Next, you must bet your chips. You can call, raise or fold. When you’re ready to bet, you should look at the cards that are left in the pot. This will give you an idea of what the other players have.
